My sites are flying now!

I just had to upgrade to their Turbo Max Hosting and wow, what a difference! My websites are so much faster now, it's incredible. I was hesitant about the cost at first but it's totally worth it for the performance boost. The migration service was also super helpful, they handled everything smoothly. I'm telling everyone I know about how great this is. Definitely sticking with them!

Easy setup for my blog

So, I decided to finally get my blog online. Heard good things about A2 Hosting. I just went for the Managed WordPress Hosting, nothing fancy. It was super easy to get it all set up; the instructions were clear enough even for me. My site loaded fast after that. Pretty happy with it, honestly. No drama, which is always nice.

Smooth migration, helpful support

I recently migrated my existing e-commerce site to A2 Hosting's WooCommerce Hosting. The initial ordering process was simple enough, though I did have a few questions about the plan differences, which their chat support clarified quickly. They even offered a free site migration service, which I took them up on. That process took about 48 hours to complete, and my site was live with minimal downtime. I noticed a definite improvement in page load speeds after the switch, especially for product pages. The cPanel interface is standard and easy to navigate. So far, the service has been reliable, and I haven't encountered any major issues. It's been a positive change.

Good deal on shared hosting

I was looking to move my small site and needed something affordable. I got a pretty solid discount on their Startup Shared Hosting for the first year. It felt like a good value for the features provided, especially compared to what I was paying before. The checkout process was straightforward, and the pricing was clear. Overall, a good experience for the money spent.

My renewal price for shared hosting just hit. It's almost double what I paid initially. Anyone else seeing this?

D DeepakM 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
Yeah, that's pretty standard across most hosting providers. The initial discount is usually for new customers only. I always factor that into my budget for the second year.

Makes sense but still stings a bit.

Did you try contacting support? Sometimes they offer a small renewal promo code if you ask.

Mine went up too. I was on the Startup plan. Switched to annual billing to save a bit, but it's still higher than year one. Worth checking if there's an annual billing discount you missed.

Is there a student discount for renewals? I know they have one for new users.

Renewal price for my Turbo Boost Hosting increased a lot. Anyone else seeing this?

S Sneha 1 month ago
Following this. My Turbo Max is up for renewal next month, hoping it's not too bad.

Yeah, mine went up too. I was on the Turbo Boost promo for a year and now it's almost double. Kinda shocking.

That's how they get you with the new customer offer, then renewal hits hard.

My Drive Shared Hosting renewal was reasonable, didn't notice a huge jump. Maybe it depends on the plan?

D DeepakR 1 month ago
Could be. Turbo plans usually have higher intro discounts.

Thinking of migrating my WordPress site to Dress Code. How smooth is their free migration service?

R Rajesh88 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
I used it for my WooCommerce site last month. It was surprisingly smooth, took about a day. They handled everything, I just gave them the details.

G Geeta 3 weeks ago
Wow, a day is fast. Any downtime during the process?

R Rajesh88 3 weeks ago
Not really, they schedule it for off-peak hours. Just some DNS propagation time.

S Sanjay 3 weeks ago
Mine wasn't as fast, but still decent. Took about 3 days for my Drupal site. Had a minor issue with a plugin not transferring, but support fixed it.

Haven't tried the free migration, but I migrated manually for my Joomla site. Was a bit of a headache.

Is that 'new customer' discount actually any good, or will they just jack up the price after a year?

A Andre 1 month ago
Yeah, they definitely give you a big discount upfront. I saved like 70% on my first year of shared hosting.

J Julia 1 month ago
They do jack up the price on renewal, that's pretty standard for hosting. Just keep an eye out for renewal promos, sometimes they have them.

Thinking of moving my small business site to Dress Code. Anyone got experience with their managed WordPress hosting?

A AnkitD 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Managed WordPress is solid. I moved a client's e-commerce site last year and the migration service was pretty smooth. They handled everything. Speeds are good, especially with the Turbo Boost. Worth it if you're not super technical.

Did you use the free migration? How long did it take?

Turbo Boost is a separate add-on right? Or included with some plans?

I've been on their managed WordPress plan for about 6 months now. Performance is decent, definitely better than my previous host. Support has been quick when I've needed them, mostly for some weird plugin conflicts.

Do they really offer a money back guarantee? Like, if I sign up and hate it, can I actually get my cash back?

S Shane Y. 1 month ago
Yeah, they do. I think it's a 30-day full refund and then prorated after that for a while. Check their terms, but it's legit.

My buddy used it last year when he realized he needed a dedicated server instead of VPS. Said it was no hassle.

Thinking of switching over from HostGator. How easy is it to move my site to A2?

T Troy 2 months ago
Pretty easy. They have a free migration service. Just open a ticket and give them your old host info.

B Ben 2 months ago
I moved a WordPress site myself, it wasn't too bad. But if you're not comfortable with cPanel, just let them do it.

I'm looking at the Turbo Boost vs Turbo Max. Is the Max really worth the extra cash for a small business site?

R Rachel Osei 1 month ago
Depends on your traffic, honestly. For a small business, Boost is probably plenty unless you're expecting huge spikes. The Max gives you more resources but might be overkill.
2
J Julia Brooks 1 month ago
I went with Boost first and then upgraded later when my traffic grew. You can always start lower and scale up if you need to.
